Accounting Manager
We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated Accounting Manager to join thefinance team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish the goals of the team. Reporting to the controller, responsibilities encompass a wide range of activities from basic bookkeeping to higher-level accounting. The accounting manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to insure the integrity of the financial data and associated reporting. This position is exposed to multiple areas, i.e., accounting, finance, operations, human resources, insurance and tax. Regular travel between office locations is required.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Daily management of financial reporting and related transactions

Review of all General Ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness

Close the books of account on a monthly basis and produce monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

Compilation of monthly financial statements and related reporting
-
Monthly/quarterly comparison to budget
-
Manage ADP semi-monthly payroll submission including monthly and year end reconciliations
-
Weekly review of accounts payable transactions to insure coding translates to budgeted spending categories

Operating expense cash flow reporting- Weekly and Monthly

Daily review of cash accounts and transactions
-
Government and other Statutory Reporting
-
Multi State sales and use tax filings
-
1099 filings
-
Monthly commission calculations and reporting to sales personnel

Significant participation in year-end audit process and preparation of associated schedules as requested by auditors, as well as adjusting journals.

Integral role in evaluation and implementation from Quickbooks to an ERP system
-
Weekly check runs and insuring disbursements are made on a timely basis while managing to cash restraints
-
Assist with preparation of Board of Directors presentations/schedules
-
Participate in the yearly/quarterly budget/forecast process as required
-
Assist with preparing schedules for Federal/State tax returns
-
Conduct periodic reviews of financial procedures and make progressive recommendations for changes/or improvements.

Lead and direct the accounting operations including a small accounting staff.

Work closely with the operations manager and office manager

Perform special projects as required
Qualifications
-
BS in Accounting or Finance
-
5-7 years of related accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
-
Strong technology skills using MS Office 2007 or later, and/or MAC OS X and familiarity with various ERP systems. Must have working knowledge of Quickbooks.

Demonstrated experience working with Software Revenue Recognition guidance

Technical Support Engineer
The Fidelis XPS Technical Support Engineer will act as technical expert and customer advocate, serving the needs of the worldwide Fidelis Security Systems customer base.
Responsibilities
-
Respond to customer questions, problem reports and enhancement requests via email, phone and web.

Perform problem diagnosis and isolation prior to engineering escalation or hardware RMA.
-
Maintain clear service records in an online ticketing system.
-
Author technical solutions to improve speed of service delivery.
-
Advocate for customers and partners in product planning.
-
Coordinate superior service delivery with the field engineering team.
-
Occasionally perform on-site service call in the DC Metro area.
Qualifications
Technical depth and hands-on capability in

Security Researcher
The Security Researcher will study threats to online security and produce a stream of timely threat intelligence, maximizing the threat mitigation effectiveness of Fidelis XPS network security appliances deployed at customer locations worldwide.
Responsibilities:

Study and document both known and emerging threats for internal and external audiences.

Advise customers on effective threat mitigation techniques.

Translate understanding of both specific threats and broad classes of threats into the Fidelis XPS Threat Mitigation Language for automated delivery to customer devices.

Make technical product recommendations as appropriate.

Present at seminars, panels and conferences as appropriate.
Qualifications

6+ years of network security, malware analysis, incident response or related experience.

Senior Software Test Engineer
The senior software test engineer will contribute to product verification and Quality Assurance (QA) of a state-of-the-art network security product.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the verification of network equipment products, such as firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, routers, or switches. This candidate will also possess knowledge of automated verification efforts with experience in traffic generators and analyzers, Perl, Tcl, Python, or similar programming languages in a Linux or Unix environment.
The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience. A BSCS (or equivalent) is required; a MSCS is preferred. Security Clearance is not required. The position is located in Bethesda, MD.

Senior Software Engineer
A Senior software engineer to contribute to the software design, implementation, and verification of the Fidelis network security management console. The candidate must have experience in the development of software products and must possess expert knowledge of C++, and SQL in a Linux or UNIX development environment.
The right candidate will possess the desire, attitude, and skills to solve challenging problems in an efficient manner. The candidate should have 7-10 years of software development experience with at least two years focused on the development of a web-based user interface. Experience in web applications and Java is also desired.

The senior Web application development engineer will contribute the software design, implementation, and verification of the Fidelis Security Systems management console.
