The FidelisProtect™ Data Privacy Assessment is a two-week network assessment that allows organizations to quantify and qualify their risks of data leakage. At the end of an assessment, organizations are able to understand their risks in a range of areas including protecting intellectual property and identity information, assuring compliance with government and industry privacy regulations, and enabling network visibility and control.

Specifically, as the result of an assessment, organizations are able to:

Digital Asset Protection	- Identify that intellectual property is leaving the network, including design documents, source code, customer lists, and classified information - Quantify the risk associated with digital assets leaking from the network
Privacy and Policy Compliance	- Learn what identity information is leaving the network, including customer, employee, taxpayer, student, or other identity information - Quantify the organization’s compliance with privacy regulations including HIPAA, GLBA, PCI, FERPA, OMB directives, and more
Network Visibility and Control	- Demonstrate all channels in use to transport data out of the network, including instant messaging, email, webmail, file sharing, and web postings - Identify risks of data leakage via channels that are circumventing traditional outbound perimeter security

How It Works

The assessment is conducted using Fidelis XPS™, the only system able to identify and stop data leakages before they occur, on all network channels on gigabit-speed networks. We’ll work closely with you to outline the scope of the assessment, which is designed to minimize resources and impact on your organization’s operations. Sensors are placed on the network and require no integration with other systems. Pre-built policies help identify violations quickly without time-consuming data registration. A central management console manages policies and then collects and manages alerts.

What You Learn

At the end of the two weeks you’ll receive a comprehensive report that includes: - A brief description of alerts - A discussion of the source of the threat and resulting vulnerability - Identification of existing mitigating security controls - Impact analysis discussion and evaluation (e.g., High, Medium or Low impact) - Recommended controls or alternative options for reducing risk.
